The Wolf at Mendenhall Glaciar

My big size 12 boots next to the wolf tracks

There is a lone wolf that spends part of the year at the Mendenhall Glaciar. We didn't know it was there and were surprised to see it. It walked around us and howled. This is the first time we've seen a wolf. We heard them at night in Wisconsin but we've never seen one.
The folks at the visitor center thinks it lost its pack and can't find one to join up with. It likes to follow big dogs and seems to want to make friends with them.
